How much for a set of tire that might last as long timewise as the batteries?

Have you tried the Thuren specs for alignment? If not thay may help.

I have Thuren .5 coils. Thuren sway bar. The 5160 is a bit firmer than the 4600. The reservoir is the difference from the 5100. So far have 5k on the tires I like them they are pretty quiet and seem like I will get the 60k they are rated for with proper care. No rear bar on 3500's

At the 60k service a Banks diff cover for ease of future fill and drains, plus the sight glass is great, and couple weeks ago 5160's on all for corners.
