Were you able to turn on auto fold mirrors via the dash of your 22 or was that setting leftover from when you had it on the challenger? If I can go ahead have that feature while waiting on the others I might go ahead and purchase the Tazer. Also, have a link for your high quality OBD2 splitter?
I see. That’s something else I need to look into is this truck requires a bypass and my last one didn’t. Do you have to get behind dash to undo it before you get it serviced? I’ve thought about alfaOBD but couldn’t find good enough clear cut instructions that gave me confidence in not messing up...
I didn’t realize you could still use the auto folding mirror part without it being married. That is one thing I miss most from my UC4 1500 I had. That and fog lights on while high beams on. Did you have to do anything special to get that to work since it doesn’t work with UC5?
Thanks for the response! I contacted them last Friday and they said they are hoping to release it this Summer for Uconnect 5 and they said to watch their social media for the announcement when it happens.
Bumping an old thread. Anyone found out when Tazer might start working for Uconnect 5? Wanting to reprogram my truck for 37" tires and used Tazer on my 2021 Ram 1500 (Uconnect 4) super easily. Would rather not mess with AlphaOBD since I can't find any good clear cut step by step things and have...
Purchased my Ram new to me in February. Since then I've tinted the side mirror blinkers, bed light/camera, and rear reverse lights dark black, tinted all the windows and front windshield, added a 3" Readylift lift, and yesterday I slapped some 20"x9" Fuel Blitz D675 wheels w/ 20 offset and...
Good to know. This would be the emblems on the front quarter panels (Cummins badge) so the brushes that spin and clean the side of the truck would be beating on it. Might still try it since it is a cheap and easy option. A friend's dad paints vehicles now that he is retired so I might also see...
I'm thinking about plasti dipping the cummins badges on the sides of the truck with black plasti dip. I've seen a few videos online of people doing it for emblems on other vehicles. Anyone else tried that? Figured that worse case I just peal the plasti dip off and have the stock emblem...
Never bothered me to be honest. This is the 6th vehicle I've tinted the windshield on now. My wife has 50% on her windshield and she's not as big of a fan of it at night but I do most of the driving at night so she lives with it. The benefit of it during the day on long trips makes up for it, too.
