@Jimmy07 Would it be possible to use the part from the ‘24 that has the sensor to enable it on 19+ rams since most of the parts are the same? Is it the passenger latch?
@Florotory
For the jumper harness, it takes six gold female connectors, and one male connector, correct? It seems that the part number indicated for the connection to the relay is a female terminal and not the male terminal, needed for the relay?
Correct, the relay was for the heater grid relay. Rumors of trucks burning up in driveways with an oem relay is scary enough. lol.
Whether or not a dealer will be able to tell if the aftermarket work was done will depend on the professionalism of the wiring and the potential need to reflash...
This can be done, but it’s truly a pain in the ass (it’s been at the bottom of my to do list for the better part of a year). Something no one addresses here is the distinct possibility of warranty claims being denied on the truck. In my case, I’m most concerned about the aux pdc work than...
Mine is reversed as well and haven’t gotten around to installing it yet to make sure it works. On my dash I have tow/haul, jake, front, back. The switch I ordered has tow/jake reversed but the vin matches the part I ordered, so it should work… once I install I’ll let you know.
What is the...

I have a question about part number 42475-2. This part number seems to be for a maximum wire size of 18 gauge. But the red 6 inch pigtails in the description are made with 12 gauge wire. I’m having a hard time crimping the 18 gauge connector on the 12 gauge wire. Was this also the...
Forgive me, if this has been previously covered, but I have been considering the naviks unit for about a year and have been monitoring this thread on and off during that time. I’ve been hopeful that they have gotten the kinks worked out of the system, can anyone comment as to whether or not they...
For those with the adaptive cruise and limited/Laramie series overhead console, I got ACC on the large yellow/pink and ground on the large black. For batt power, found the smaller 18 gauge red and black to have batt power.
That’s funny, sometimes you just have to take a step back to a simpler approach. I feel silly that I didn’t do this prior to posting. Thank you for the perspective!
Thank you! I’m kind of stuck on this silly project… any help @Brutal_HO @Jimmy07 is really appreciated. And I’m sorry if I can’t find a thread on this.
Is this in the console or in the rearview? I have adaptive cruise, are these wires in there for this set up too?
How do I remove the rear view garnish trim without damage on the DASM, rearview assembly?
