With the wording on the bottom of the sheet, you may be SOL? Did they/you sign anything? My dealer signed it with an OTD price and sent me an e-mail regarding the price guarantee. ETA; Unfortunately, in today’s market they have the upper hand.
Dealer just sent an e-mail that my order is in NM and should be on the lot in the next couple days. Shipping was faster than I expected, I was told 9/25-10/5.
Right or wrong, it makes sense from a marketing stand point. Makes for a pretty easy decision when someone is on the fence and they can see some orders being delivered in “normal times”. Not good customer service, but probably good business.
I feel your pain. This is my first Ram and a buddy ordered a Ford a week before I ordered the Ram and he has been driving it for 2 weeks. The **** talking is endless.
What I’ve seen, the frustration is not so much the wait, but what appears to many as illogical scheduling. When you have people that ordered late July having their units built ahead of people that ordered May/June with equal or higher chip reliant packages, it’s bad optics and the chip shortage...
Building as many of the ”high chip count” units as they can upfront makes business sense to me, but taking sequence number into account. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to that.
Spoke with my dealers GM today regarding BH power folding mirrors. He relayed to me if the order build sheet shows level 1 or B, the truck will be equipped with power folding mirrors. If the truck was ordered later, and is A or C, it will not have power folding unless the truck has the trailer...
