Crew cab long bed Cummins. Does have the air assist.
Prior years air assist weren’t derated, nor have I seen anything with the build and price tool that would indicate there is a derate because of the leaf pack difference.
I think it would be one thing if they stated ANYWHERE that 13.5k was an option, it across the board in the us there is no mention of the 13.5k GVWR until the 2026 build and price tool.
And it doesn’t show as an option on the window sticker, so without looking at the door jam you wouldn’t...
I just purchased a 2025 Limited dually from MD. It arrived late Thursday night, and after I got it home and gave it a once over Friday morning, I've found that my payload was criminally low for a 3500 DRW. 4452lbs to be exact.
Now my 2014 Laramie HO was fully loaded, and it had something in the...
GOS is absolutely amazing, and I'm seriously looking forward to their supposed new hardware. There are so many pieces of technology that are now buying and selling our data it's gone right past shocking into comical.
Great short write up on GOS for those that are unaware and are looking for...
Similar to feedback you've received from others, I've not heard someone with a heavy camper that's been happy with a 2500 long term. The 5 link is absolutely amazing for off-road articulation, but they ride a bit nicer on-road, but they aren't ideal for carrying heavy payloads.
I struggle with this exact same thing. As an avid hunter and outdoorsman, I love to spend time in nature, and I want it as pristine as possible. I also grew up in southern california, and I saw the smog as a child, and saw it get better over the years. Today, if you look out towards LA from a...
What your local town registration agent allows, and what is actually legal in your state often don't align. A buddy of mine had a 3500 but didn't wanna pay the extra, so he went down to his town hall and registered it as a 10k truck. Agent said nothing, gave him his papers, and said have a nice...
I've been reading up on that new yaesu. Honestly, I just am not a fan of their layouts on the new products. I also am very weary of all the screens coming on the new products. I used to be categorized in the "innovators" phase of the tech adoption curve, but I now often find myself squarely in...
Man, I wish I could find a d710ga for a reasonable price. Physical buttons and that early 2000s style screen bring me back and are 100% what I love. I had to hunt down a few Icom 7200s but I'm happy I snagged some excellent working ones, with the handles!
It's currently sitting on my 2014 dually. My experience is positive, but there are a few oddities.
Because of the design, you can't guarantee the logo appears in the correct position. I was actually hoping to hide the logo, but again there isn't much you can do about that because the whole...
Sadly, development for AA doesn't even require interfacing with multiple different manufactures. AA is functionally it's own sandbox that developers interact with. It's the responsibility of the phone OEM (ie. Samsung, HTC, etc.) to integrate correctly with AA.
I really have no clue what it's...
It's all about consumer demand. As much as I hate it, you have to realize Ram is a business, and they are only going to spend time on stuff that results in sales. It's short sighted but there is no value in updating old trucks, and the new potential buyers aren't demanding it in enough counts to...
There seems to be a lot of conversation on if you should even get a HD truck for your son, but I'm gonna skip past that and address the question on short tripping. OP, I can quickly sum it up as follows.
Correct.
Then why ask for feedback?
History has shown no, but only time will tell...
