I have a 2020 3500 with cummins engine. Has 9150 miles and have had to have the starter replaced twice now. About every 6 months, dealer says the starter was locked up. Not the engine or flywheel just the starter. Then had no idea what might cause two starters to go bad.

Thanks what I thought, When I opened the rear I was able to capture it and was only fuel no water. It is at a dealership that I did not purchase it from as they were the closest. They are in no hurry to look at it said it will be a couple days before they looked at it.

Had the icon popup when I went to start the truck. No issues before I parked it a couple hours earlier, I drained the filters and captured the fuel from the rear filter and only diesel came out. Could it just be a sensor, truck only has 4200 miles on it and have had zero issues until now...
