Finally got them after a fair point of screaming , cursing down trimming and a decent amount of alcohol.

lol, no worries I gave up, after lots of swearing a nice gash on my hand from the sheet metal and realizing I just got beat by some plastic.

Got any tricks lol pretty sure the neighbor's kid's ears were bleeding when I was trying. I am assuming you removed to the 2 like 1/4 liners first. I wanted to keep the screws and use those push pins so I was trying it both ways keeping the original liners in and removing them.
