2022 Ram 2500 diesel, 45,000km
This morning my truck started making a Liu audible “click” from behind the dash when I push the brake pedal.
Only does it in Park, I can also feel it if my hand is in the column shifter or touching the plastic surround covering the shifter
Seems to be the shift...
How easy/hard is the Killer Grid upgrade on the RAM2500 ? I've got a 2022 RAM 2500 with 48,000km , and honestly im paranoid about the possibility of failure. My bumper to Bumper runs out in March of 2026. (got my truck in 2023). I do the wiggle test now and then, so far its fine, but fear...
no, I've burned more than 1800 litres, see above, my Math was way off on the 4%
Ive used 72 litres of DEF = 19 US Gallons
Ive travelled 20,000 km
Mileage ranges from 11-18 L/100km depending on if im on highway, in town or towing
If I got 11 L/100 km 100% of the time I'd have burned ~2200...

****** UPDATE ...OK... So just re did my calculations, and Im not sure how I ended up at 4% now.. you are correct --- Bad math or a faulty...
Cheers for the replies guys
My Def Gauge was full when I hit 20,000km on the truck
My fuel economy is 11 Litres per 100km on the highway (we don't do MPG here)
and I get 14 Litres per 100km in town
Most of my miles are highway but generally my fuel economy is really good, sure happy with...
Hi Guys, My 2022 RAM 2500 seems to drink DEF like crazy, My buddy next door uses half the DEF I use in his 3500 and he tows more than me . Here's the specifics
2022 RAM 2500 BigHorn
60% winter driving 40% summer driving. (Canada)
Id say 20% (maximum) of my driving Im towing a 3500 lb trailer...
Yes, they have ordered the sensor and the module already so it will be there when I arrive. Ill make sure its all there before they mess with that part. thank you
Thanks for the extra pic's , ill crawl back under mine and look again
im in for an oil change in early October, maybe I should get it done then .
id like it if it used less DEF after this recall, especially in winter mine drinks DEF in winter like a fighter jet drinks fuel. Summer its really...
I don't think so. the yellow circles are just the wire hangers as far as I can tell. my wire hangers are in the background of the shot, the blue wire terminates at that connector you see there. the blank "plug" for the missing sensor is also right next to it.
I can't even find a mounting plate on my exhaust system for that module
even the blue wire on mine looks like its a ground wire (I know its not) simply bolted to a plug on the exhaust, doesnt look like a sensor
I cant even follow the blue wire far enough to see where it ends (certainly not on...
Got my recall notice yesterday (Canada). I can see the plug, so I know the sensor is missing , ill crawl under my truck and see if the module is there or not.
Cant locate where the DP module is on the 2500's. The 2500 doesn't seem to have the same mounting plate setup on top of the DPF that...
