    Aha capless! I got it now. I am not sure what design benefits this has, but the vulnerability of being exposed to dirt and stuff seems like too much of a risk for whatever the benefits are. Thanks for educating me on the diesel kleen. I will be looking into it for sure.

    @brutal I scrubbed the 2019 manual and it does NOT include any maintenance plan outside of what I posted above. The only mention of the word "diesel" is in the fuses section. The cover page says RAM 2500/3500, so I fully expect it to have all the relevant info. I don't know if I am missing...

    Thanks Brutal! Any chance you could link to where you took that capture from? The manual I downloaded from Mopar.com did not have a complete service schedule. And the intervals are 20,000 miles. Here are the 2 pages under "Service and Maintenance" from the manual I downloaded from this link...
