I took mine into the dealership and they had to do two factory resets on the system to fix it. The gauges now work as well as the trailer light check function. They asked me to wait two days before setting up my profile on the system again, I guess to let the system complete any updates. So...
I got them from Amazon. They are: APS Drop Steps Running Boards Compatible with Dodge Ram 1500 2009-2018 Crew Cab & Dodge Ram 2500/3500 2010-2024 Crew Cab

That sounds exactly like what mine is doing. I saw in another thread that some are having success with doing a factory reset of the stereo, but I haven't heard if that is a lasting fix. I don't want to have to reset my radio every time I need to tow my camper.
For those that have done the reset, did the fix last? I don't want to reset my stereo and go through all the settings again just to have to do it every month.
I'm having similar issues with mine. The trailer light test function works intermittently as well as the gauges in the tow page. I'm going to try to get my truck in to the dealer in the next week or two for the recall and I'm going to ask about it then. I'll post the outcome here.
Mine is doing the same thing. I have not had it in for any service/recall yet. The light test worked a week ago when I picked up my camper, then when I went to take it back to storage, the light test wasn't working. Additionally, the trailer tow page on the radio (that show's the trailer...
My dealer also said it was not returnable. $800 to $1600 is kind of a pricey gamble; especially for only 1 camera (the descriptions for "AB" and "AD" both say that you need to buy two kits if you want dual cameras).
I have a 23 Laramie 2500 that does the same thing. I thought it was the back seat and it seemed intermittent. The truck is getting some hail damage repaired now, but when I get it back I'll look for the rubber seal.
Those look really nice! My next upgrade will be a hard tonneau cover. Just trying to find one that I can add a roll/light bar to later down the road.

I recently upgraded from a 19' 1500 Bighorn Hemi, to a 23' 2500 Laramie with the 6.7 Cummins. I'm new to owning a diesel but have worked...
