Etrailer was cheapest I found(at least from a reputable seller), biggest issue is if it’s in stock, I had to wait 6-7 weeks for mine. You might also find a 5-10% off coupon on line that would save you a few more bucks.

The E version is the one that binds on the 3500 but apparently not on the 2500. For the amount I actually use it I don’t find it a real problem at the end of the day.

If I was a gambling man I’d guess 82215842AF as ours is AE which is apparently for the 2500.

Well then when the actual 3500 step becomes available I’ll be returning this one back to the dealer as the parts guy took my truck info and ordered the step so that’s on him.

Mine does the same thing, I haven’t bothered to address it yet but I’m wondering whether it’s a issue with just 3500’s as the other guy who replied with no issues has a 2500.

Great, that’s exactly what I wanted to see/hear. I’m getting the B&W Companion RVK3600 which is basically the same as what you’ve got except you have an extra 5K towing capacity. Hoping to have a 5th wheel in the next month or so to put my Ram to work finally.

Rich, Just wanted you to confirm that you’re able to keep your MX4 cover folded up while you’re towing, I thought I’d read that at some point but wanted to confirm before I pull the trigger. Thanks, Scott
