Huh. I could be wrong about the temp. Doesn't seem to matter with the range it has. My v10 ford is 192* and stays within 2* either way, so it's weird to me the range it runs.
I back flushed my heater core over 2 days. Reversed the flow a bunch of times. Also user a water air gun to blow crap out. Helped a lot. New thermostat helped more.

Talking with a friend of mine that builds offroad buggies, he suggested getting a few sheets of thin copper and making a multi layer gasket of sorts. His thought was the copper will shape to manifold and y pipe and allow movement without the noise. Thoughts?
