Looks like so far many of you think the truck sounds good at start up. Tomorrow I will take another video showing a very cold. 40 DEGREES LOL startup with the tick at startup maybe that could help. I REALLY appreciate all the feedback and thank you for understanding I'm new and still learning...
I've attached the Engine sounds here: Engine Chatter.mp4
You can view it and tell me what you think. This is the Cummins 6.7 2019 Ram 130K miles. Sorry the startup isn't clear it's a bit warmer too. The truck starts with a slight knocking and then taps and rattles and the end of the video you...
Google AI says this: A "raddle tapping" sound on a Ram 2500 with a 6.7 Cummins engine at start-up is most likely caused by worn-out or noisy injector tips within the fuel injectors, which is a common issue in diesel engines, especially when they start to age; this noise usually subsides once the...
This problem I think I can help, if you still have it. I had the same issue with mine. If you haven't figured this out. On mine the dealership did two things. 1. Changed out the DPF filter. If you had the recall done on the emissions system you will have an extended warranty on the emissions. So...
Check the back break light/ Cargo light on the back top of the cab. Mine was damaged on my 2019 2500 and it totally leaked into the truck. That light seal will allow moisture to come into the cab roof liner. It's a freaking known issue I found out. :)
My dealership preformed the recall to change out the High-pressure Fuel Pump CP4 and install the CP3 on my 2019 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins with 130K on it. This was a task from all indications. I do have a problem I believe. I'm not sure. I didn't own it long enough before they did the change out to...
Hey, I have a Gen 5 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn with all sorts of bugs. It's a great truck and honestly, I've fallen in love with it. The previous owner beat her and didn't treat her nice at all. I on the other hand love her and give her lots of attention. I'm looking for help to get her up to speed...
Thos are very good questions. This truck was driven as a real workhorse. It's believed to have been a hotshot truck in the first 50K and turned over to a landscape company for the rest of the 115K after we purchased it. Now many people might tell me I was crazy to buy it but, I did get a good...
I have this photo of my Ram 2019 2500 with a blown-out intercooler boot tube that came off while my truck was being driven as a test drive. (Funny, not so funny, the dealer provided me this photo.) I took it to the dealer after a low boost and they changed out the DPF filter because it was...
