Update: I disconnected the negative cable on both batteries and reconnected after about an hour. Didn't fix the problem. I don't get it.

This is great information. I will try to keep the foam intact as long as possible, but it is so good to know that it isnt THAT important. I am not looking for total waterproofing - more security than anything.

Those that have the Husky flaps, is there any rubbing of the paint on the fender flares? The only flaps ive ever had were Mopar molded on my 2002 1500 and they wore through the paint on the fender flare.
