huh I actually have an AEV ProCal from my last truck. I heard it wouldn't work due to the added security module they put in for the 2019+ ones. Maybe I'll give it a go.
Ohh it's massive I got nothing for that :)
I can confirm for sure a 35" KO2 fits attached are some pictures of how tight it is and the heatshield so maybe that helps you. It is VERY close to the trailer hitch mount but I think the fact it's deflated won't be to big of an issue.
Bonus...
No biggie, only reason I had pointed it out is because I have also read there is a difference in the heat shield on the muffler with some of the power wagons so sometimes it doesn't fit... I can't confirm that one or not though. I bet TrailRecon is going to go with the swingout bumper or...
Also you can watch that video at 7:17 you can still see the duratrac up there. I was asking him on instagram and he said he hadn't put the 35" KO2 up there yet so I don't know. Maybe I missed it in the video.
I can confirm though that if you deflate the 35x12.5R17 KO2 it does fit in the...
Well of course I don't really know but my conspiracy theory is they did it because a 33" tire is the only thing that would fit within spec in the spare location. Easier to put a smaller tire on the whole truck than to say they either don't have a full size spare or do something different than...
That's very odd! But actually gives me hope that there are parts I can buy :)
Is there any chance you can take some pictures of your heat shield and other areas and post them? Not sure what variation I have at this point and I'd like to know before heading to the tire store. Thanks!
Looks awesome. I am curious to know what you did with the spare. That is how I landed here. I don't think a 35x12.5 will fit in the spare area and I don't LOVE the idea of a tire carrier for daily driving.
