    2022 Ram 3500 - Towing Disappointment Justified?

Where does he say he's in 6th? All it says is the truck won't downshift. Nowhere does it say what gear it was in at the bottom of the hill and how fast the truck was going so who knows?

Ram 3500 srw vs F350 srw

Don't even need a broomstick - on the older trucks they would walk up, unscrew the antenna and use it to push the unlock button. I had a 2012 2500 CC SB and my 2018 F-350 CC SB rode way, way better. I now have a 2019 CC LB dually with the rear air suspension and I'd say it rides a bit better...

    2022 Ram 3500 - Towing Disappointment Justified?

The truck won't downshift if the next lower gear would put the RPM above redline. He says the boost is 26psi and I have no idea what the max boost on an SO motor is. I have an HO and see 36 when I'm climbing a pass with my trailer. Guess it would help if we knew what RPM he was at. I can see...

I have a 42' 5th wheel and my scaled weights are 14,332 truck (overloaded) and 12,919 on the trailer axles. I...

    Driving in 4hi

Ah yes tires. There are far too many people out there that don't want to spend the money on a good tire for the winter. I used to be one until I tried a dedicated winter tire on a truck. I currently have 6 studded Nokians on my dually. I can take off from a stop on an uphill in 2wd on ice...

    Driving in 4hi

I am from Canada eh and living in the mountains in BC. We just got a nice Christmas dump of snow over the last few days which added up to about 4 feet total. Most of the time I will drive in 4 Hi when the road is snow covered. Sometimes I only switch to 4 Hi when I am getting ready to pass on a...
