DEF is injected POST DPF and should have 0 impacts on regens in general. The crystallization you are referring to is on the DEF injector, again.... not related to the DPF.
I saw this video and thought it was very informative. He was not bashing Banks, video simply stated on a stock truck you will lose power which many people on here have stated several times. The gains on a tuned truck were descent but with a large intake plenum like the Banks you wont see big...
It appears the connector itself is the same for all trucks, the one that hooks into the bumper. Since I sold my truck and my kit is only good for 22 models I am willing to part it out. It looks like I can unscrew the connector you need. Shoot me a text and lets see if we can work something...
If you find the cable you need I will give you my blanking plate. I sold my truck and everything is still on my trailer. If the cables were backwards compatible I would hook you up but it sounds like my cable will not work.
Thanks for clarifying, they must have changed the design of these kits. Mine did not come with a repeater/junction box as you all are describing above. The cable that hooks into my camera goes directly to the rear bumper on my truck.
My 22 came with this option. Assuming your truck came from the factory with the digital rear view mirror your truck should be good to go, should be as simple as plugging in the coax from camera into rear bumper and turning on your turn digital rear view. My 22 had the digital rear view mirror...
I would tell the dealer you are missing the cable and have them source one for you. For reference I believe the cable you are referring to is over 30 ft. long.
Are you actually getting water when you drain the bowl? You very well could have a bad sensor or faulty wiring. When you drain the bowl if there is water in the fuel it will be obvious.
