My 2026 had the transmission valve body fail(?) at 50 miles. No eta on the replacement part but dealer gave me a 2500 rebel off the lot to drive and told me at day 30 they would pull the part out of a truck on the lot. Part arrived on day 28 and all has been well.
My 2026 SRW 3500 took a full quart in the rear and half a quart up front when I took it home from the dealer. I’ve seen other people with same issue. I hope it’s not like the push-in-your-fuses issue.
The noco genius’ are rated to -20C I’ve used them below that but can’t testify to how efficient they remain below that temp.
You picked a heck of a winter to relocate to saskabush
I need to dig into this as well, my 3500 with 2000lb camper is very slightly nose low but I can see my low beams are higher than they should be especially in falling snow
I guess what you refer to as “flat rate”.
Job A says it takes 1.0 hour so you get paid 1.0 hour at your flat rate, just like cutting and bailing hay by the ton.
Is there some sort of act of god clause where you dig into a eight year old car and bolts start breaking or something like that?
I don’t fully understand this.
Are you saying that if a tech works 40 hours Monday to Friday and completes 25.0 hours of “book repair time” for whatever reasons , his paystub will reflect 25.0 hours of pay at his journeyman rate?
If the truck thinks the headache rack is a trailer because it connects to the 7-way in the bed, what happens when you hook onto a trailer as well and plug into the 7-way at the hitch?
Thanks for that link. It indeed shows the anti-spin, though I’m not sure what felt more disappointing, thinking Ram didn’t put it in my truck or now knowing they did and how ineffective it is.
To follow up on this, my 2026 3500 SRW bighorn 4wd does not have the anti-spin on the window sticker, the two rear tires spin in opposite directions when jacked up, and having driven a bit in light mud and snow, does not have a LSD of any effectiveness. The dealer simply told me that if it is...
The 2024 3500’s came standard with a rear “anti-spin” differential.
I assumed my 2026 would have as well, and when I swapped out the firestones I noticed there was no resistance spinning a rear tire, so thought it may be a worm gear style LSD.
My window sticker does not show it, nor is it...
The ZF is much smoother than the ‘heavy truck’ feeling Aisin and hopefully proves to be as durable, which I understand has been proven in other platforms.
I don’t mind the firm ride of the 3500 at all, and this truck will have a slide in camper in it most of the time anyways.
After a 6 week delay due to bumper damage in shipping it arrived.
Unfortunately at 84km or so, I got the cascade of warnings, then after stopping I lost drive, reverse, and even park. I was able to get home by shutting down and opening doors to put screens to sleep.
