Go with the B&W turnover ball, and you still can put in a 5th wheel hitch if you need to later on. B&W makes a 5th wheel that goes into a turnover ball slot, we have one for our truck and it works great.
No. You need to print out the specs from the link 64poncho provided and take them with you. Depending upon your shop, you may have a hard time convincing them to use them.
Great. I could see that the gasket on mine had a crack in it probably from shrinking. I ran a small bead of silicone sealer around it and it fixed the problem. Mine is a 2019 2500.
Is the second part number, 68512072AB still available? When I search for it on Google it doesn’t come up and the same on several of the Mopar parts sites.
Phishwagon, did you figure it out? My 2019 2500 just started dripping water in that area. I think maybe the antenna seal is cracked. Looked at parts diagram online and it doesn’t even show a gasket or seal that’s separate. Tempted to run a bead of some sort of silicone around it.
That’s great to hear. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing when I get one of moving the booster from the truck, to my fifth wheel camper when camping.
My wife has a hard time getting into our 2019 2500 with front leveling kit. So we carry a Rubbermaid step stool and she drilled a hole in it and tied a string to it. That way she can use it to get up to the truck side steps and use the string to pull it into the truck afterwards...
If I’m spending 50-125k on something, I’m going to go over it with a fine tooth comb and make sure that it’s what I want, does what I want and handles like I want. I’m not a sucker for flashy things however I know most of you are.
