You think we have it bad here, I just talked to my friend in Australia. He went to the Ram dealer a couple of weeks ago to order a 2022 Laramie. The terms were, $167,000, 50% down, delivery in one year. That is $121,000 USD.
I live in Phoenix, I tried to buy a 2500 from Sahara Chrysler in early January and when they found out I did not live in Las Vegas they would not sell it to me. Strange times.
My truck has a build date of 12-21, I bought it in 1-2-22 and there have been 3 price increases since. just priced it online and almost 5k more. Welcome to the 1970's.
I have a 12-21 build truck with the safety package and the premium to mirrors, no BSM . My mirrors have the small triangle in the corner. Do I need to replace the mirror glass?
I bought off the lot. I did price a build at Earnhart, and they would not lock in the MSRP. I never went to Chapman because the last time I looked they had mandatory adds. I also had a trade this time and you never know what that value will be in 3-4 months.
Here in Scottsdale Arizona I got $2450 off of a $74800 Ram 2500. That was the best deal I could find in the southwest, found some in California that had $10,000 mark up and a dealer in Las Vegas that would not sell to anyone outside of Nevada.
Kind of amazing that a $75,000 truck does not have Blind-Spot Detection, but my wife's $29,000 Mazda does.
This is the second thing I am disappointed in, the other being the skimpy 400 watt plug in the bed, and the truck has less than 100 miles on it.
