You were right on the money about that. I could not adjust the heat temperature until an hour of driving and 2 stops. Now everything is completely back to normal. I do love this truck but I think back to how simple my 01’ was with a 318, the same motor I had in my 73’ coronet
it’s running fine now but: new problems…. Heat controls only go to “lo” or “hi” with no numbers in between! My screen background changed from red to blue ugh
I think I might have found the issue, I sure hope so. After checking fuses and tracing lots of wires, I found a loose ground wire nut on the front inner fender near the fuse box. After tightening it, it started and seems to be okay. I’m going to let it run, recharge the batteries all the way...
35 degrees. I changed the batteries quickly the day before yesterday. It’s started right up and everything worked. Now I got nothing but rapid cranking, no start at all
The push to start would not go away no matter what. I tried to start it and it cranked plenty fast but did not start, plus it bypassed the grid heater. I disconnected the batteries since it was too dark to work on it last night. Re-connected this morning, same issue. Thought maybe a reboot would...
Oh hell no. I was walking by my truck in the dark and saw something lit up on my dash. It says “press brake and push button to start”. It’s dark and 20 out, so I disconnected the batteries. Not looking forward to waking up to this. I hope it’s a weak key fob or a brake switch…. Has this happened...
I always change in pairs. This time they only had one in stock, I installed it, ran fine but will still get a new one for the drivers side as soon as it arrives
I never tried bypassing the WTS, and I’m glad you mentioned trying that. The truck is always on a Noco 5amp AGM trickle charger when it sits for more than 2-3 days. I usually plug in the block heater when it’s cold but sometimes forget. Turns out just one of the batteries was bad, and they...
No, it’s the result of a load test
i appreciate you Hannah.
What can I do to eliminate replacing so many batteries? My truck was new in 3/2020. I just put my 3rd battery set in the truck. The stock batteries are not nearly powerful enough, especially for cold starts with the grid heater. I love...
My 3 year old X2 AGM 94R batteries are struggling to start, and don’t with the grid heater in the cold .
They’re still under warranty for another year but batteries plus wants me to bring them in for a load test (must be charged). I tested one with my own actron load tester and the result was...
If this helps anyone. I had to replace my spoiler after it got snagged on a load. I tried to find a replacement on Amazon since I needed one quick. If it’s not OEM don’t waste your money. During careful assembly every single plastic tab snapped. I have a 2020 ram 3500 dually. If you need the OEM...
My dash cam also has a capacitor, and internal battery. The stock batteries are trash in my opinion. I often stop at job sites that are 2 minutes apart and I need my hazard flashers. Also need the cam to protect my vehicle. Twice I couldn’t start my truck after using my hazards. I keep a jump...
