The wire their video said to use was constant 12v. I probed every wire in my overhead console and not a single one was switched 12v
Maybe my truck is different for some reason but either way it’s not worth $60 for three wires you can just tap yourself
The harness from infotainment isn’t really worth purchasing. I just installed a mirror for a wrecker with their harness and they tap into full time 12v power. That means the home link works when the truck is off and kind of defeats the security purpose of having home link. Couldn’t find switched...
I’ve been looking at the 12v systems, the startx, and the infotainment
Startx is cheap but the range on the factory remote isn’t great so I’m wary of that one
12v systems had an app and long range option
Infotainment is about the same price and I can use the ram app but have to pay for it...
