Got a bottle of Proper 12. Had no idea it was McGregor's brand. I likely wouldn't have gotten it then - not because of him, I would have dismissed as a gimmick. Anyhow, it's actually really good! I would definitely get again...
I shut my water off in the late fall for the winter so, unfortunately, I dont wash in the winter. I think if there was a really bad snow and I could see a ton of salt I'd take it to be washed. During the summer about every week or every other week I'll wash it...usually when I mow the lawn.
Bathroom access is a must. I'm easy, lol, but the rest of my fam is not. Was a bummer, there was a TT I really liked and that was the deal breaker...fwiw it really does make rest stops a lot faster on travel days - one stop for gas without having to park and go inside.
Nice!! I had a tough time w the stock. The LOP was just too long. I tried a pistol grip and it was better but I couldn't reach the rack button w my thumb. I swapped out for the magpul and I couldn't be happier. Thing is a beast to shoot (only slugs allowed at my local range). Very fun!
The semi auto shotguns seem really useful...but there is no more satisfying sound than a pump action, lol. I got a Mossberg 590a1 and can only shoot slugs at my local range. Man this thing kicks like a mule. Once I found a proper stock with a shorter LOP I can manage it now. It's so fun to...
I imagine selfies will be a tad difficult w that rig! ;) ...and analog does rule!! Though I've never developed my own film - our old video editor used to. A bit above my skill set. I'm the resident audio guy, and big on analog. Photos are all DSLR for me, lol (and mirrorless at some point).
Our last trip of the season...sniff. Indian Island - local, but still fun. I love caping in the fall and early spring. Nothing better than a campfire you need!
