2019 Ram 2500 Tailgate Hinge Replacement
HI Brutal, Thanks for the response. Unfortunately removing the gas strut is not my issue. I need to remove the hinge piece as it has frozen up. Unlike the 1500 rams, apparently they welded the 2500 hinge brackets in addition to the two bolts. I am hoping somone has a solution as I am not...- On Track Farming

2019 Ram 2500 Tailgate Hinge Replacement
Hi There, I also have a 2019 Ram 2500 which has the tailgate dampener on the right side of the tailgate. Mine has also gotten very stiff. The problem appears to be in the place where the shaft goes thru the hinge mount to the dampener control arm. I looked at unbolting the piece but now I see it...- On Track Farming
