I was personally happy my truck came without them. But if I was going to add them I’d definitely go the wireless route. Better them going out or needing replaced than 5 holes in the roof IMO.

I found my 2020 3500 SRW Laramie Cummins on a dealer lot with 33 miles on it but the first 2 dealers I went to laughed at me and said they could “check allocation on Monday but good luck” and all I asked for was a SRW Cummins. I was open to trim level at the time. must not have wanted my money!

Since I said I would report back and reading more posts in this thread I have concluded that if the dash light for the exhaust break does not come on on its own than I just 100% don’t know what I’m listening for when the high idle activates automatically!!!!

I ended up using the Chemical Guys Hydro slick and it came out good but I ordered a bottle of the Turtle wax Graphene and can’t wait to try it when the weather breaks.

My 20’ will not engage the exhaust break on its own but it does go into high idle on its own. You can also put it in high idle by turning on the cruse control and pressing “set” then you can hit the “increase” button and idle the engine all the way up to 1,400RPM
