Wow, just catching up. To bad you went thru all of that to be not so happy with it. I’m not sure why the 6x9’s didn’t fit your model from mine but who knows. My stock system was so terrible, after i switched out the 3-ways around the board, the sound was 100% better. Especially the sound...
Manufacturers need to stop this use of the cars audio systems to cancel or enhance driving experiences. Without my noise canceling system functioning it is just as quiet as any car or truck i’ve had in the past. I was recently in a friends Ford Explorer, and if he drives it in sport mode, the...
i suggest you check the measurement of the stock speaker and buy a shallower 6x9 instead, unless you plan on using separates but you’ll still have to check the depth and mount a separate tweeter
i have a 2019 3500 bighorn. I didn’t have an issue using the 1/4” spacers with the 6x9s. sorry there must be a mismatch. is it really bad? have you tried to tighten them down and operate the window?
Also pick up a pick set. You’ll need it to get the little trim piece off behind the door handle. Use the angled one and push it behind the square and pull

I mean, I’ve seen (pickup) construction vehicles and professional landscapers with what i assume are Gasoline transfer tanks. I even see some toy haulers come with a gasoline transfer tank factory installed.
Yea, I don’t think i have a 30 gallon tank either. Think mine came with a 27. when your in unfamiliar areas I try to keep an eye out for a station close to the interstate or highway, otherwise its you can get duped into taking a 10 mile detour for gas. It is what it is. That’s why i’m...
I only get about 190 miles to empty while towing. So i usually stop at around 150 and start looking. With Gasser it’s not always easy to find a station to fit a 20ft truck and 32 foot camper.
The dash trim just pops up real easy. I suggest getting a set of panel tools from harbor freight to change anything out in the vehicle. They use so many of those plastic anchors everywhere and without the tool to pry them up it will be just a nightmare...
YES, you’ll need to replace the door speakers at the same time because the engineers are Ram decided to make the wiring in parallel with the front doors and the 6x9 stock speakers from the research i’ve done are something like 6 ohms. In the beginning when I replaced the dash speakers I tested...
So basically a bed mounted transfer tank and pump is my only option. I see similar posts on the forum but most of this type of stuff applies only for diesels. There are a bunch of tank manufacturers out there.
Well there ya go. I have an ez lift with WDB and chains. That’s what I do to get it straight. It’s only for a few minutes anyway. Let us k ow how you make out on your next row.
