We were not towing when ours failed. We had only used tow/haul 3 times for a total of 75 miles towing our pretty light travel trailer before it failed. Just completed a short 120 mile trip with it over the weekend with no issues on the new transmission.

We reported ours in February. I wish more people would think about it and report theirs.

Here's mine from the new one. Not very happy right now as I've discovered fluid all over my skid plates and what appears to be at least 2 leaks. You'd think when you have a truck for almost 50 days you'd triple check for leaks. Completely unacceptable.

Well I'm back on the road. Transmission is shifting smooth. I still don't know how they got a complete transmission for me but they did. I'll try too keep everyone updated as we put miles on it. Hopefully they sent a known good one.

Well just got called by my service writer and they received a replacement transmission for us. They're hoping to have it done this weekend. Shocked as we had no eta on Monday from Ram Cares.

I don't think so since we aren't pervy to that information and there hasnt been an offical statement put out or any statement for that matter about these breaking. The list is a small sampling. When was your truck built? Seems the 8/22-12/22 built trucks are the most prone.

That's where we'd be had we not bought it from mark dodge and drove it back to California from Louisiana. Wouldn't even know about this failure and would be months from now before we hit the mileage of our failure.
