That may answer my problem. I know I disconnected the drivers side plug from somewhere and it looks like the dummy plug on the frame fits the bill. I’ll check tomorrow. It’s too late tonight.
I agree. The seat was removed for upholstery repair and the guy may not have left the plug out when he put it back together. Even if it serves no purpose I want it back like it was. Thanks for looking.
The process was pretty simple as stated in all the other posts I could find (except it's 5 bolts including the seat belt in the middle). The problem is finding the plug I disconnected on the driver side! When I reinstalled the seat I couldn't find the plug. There are two wiring plugs coming out...
If you actually took them off, cleaned them, then retightened them then you’re definitely in new battery territory. Otherwise they can be tight and “look” good from the outside but still have an oxide layer causing problems.
