I had one and as another mentioned it didn’t change it . I was towing 15 k at the time . Mine ran at about 225 on a hot day pulling grades or in stop and go traffic . Still running with about 120k miles on it .

I always smell the oil on the dipstick and look at the color I also taste it for Antifreeze . Diesel fuel is easy to detect by smelling, antifreeze by tasting . That fill is not normal it is over big time !

That bit of wisdom to pour fuel directly into the filter is really bad . You are going to have unfiltered fuel going directly into the system which in my opinion is not good . If you have to do this use cheese cloth or something along those lines to keep any contamination out . My 15...
