Had a local dealer ask $20k above MSRP for a Durango Hellcat. Went back and forth for a week via phone calls, text and emails. Finally agreed to $5k above MSRP. This was for an order and right after covid supply chain issues (2023). Went to dealer for paperwork signing and salesman said...
I found this truck way before I even ordered mine, and when I get bored look at the pics. Surprisingly this truck is still for sale after so many months. Being curious I looked for why. It then clicked - check out the $7k + adder. WOW! Also caught the notes in the description that...
I had a ram 1500 with a locking diff that was open when unlocked. It sucked. Would take a limited slip over locking every day of the week for daily street, wet and snow driving. If you are rock crawling then sure - locking but for a daily - limited for me. Your needs may vary.
I had the same concern, but I’m looking at it a little differently. IMO, this feels more like an electrical issue than a mechanical one—though it may require a few sensors that play nicer with the new Atlantis architecture. I’d much rather deal with that than true core mechanical problems...
Curious if it has anything to do with import tariffs or waiting for parts? Might be at dealer already but not notifying you? Doesn't make sense to wait that long at the yard. They usually want to keep their yards empty when possible. My 2 cents.....
Good luck!
I believe he is incorrect stating deletes are now legal. They are not. They just won't prosecute if you remove mfg installed emission equipment. I believe you can still be held liable at the civil level to fines. Then there is state emission testing which is done at the state level not...
Thermodynamics would dictate it would take time for the glow plugs to reach optimum temperature to help ignite diesel fuel thus starting the combustion cycle (more then a few microseconds which is currently set). IMO not having a delay tied to outside ambient temperature in the ECM is incorrect...
Metal clips to shrink and not make contact with fuse? Thermal expansion is so small especially at these temperature gradients and fuse tab sizes........I think this theory is incorrect.
I feel the whole fuse not being seated completely causing these electrical issues is ********.
My guess the shortage of some parts may be pushing build. I'm curious how you got a build date as from what I understand build dates are not available on the tracker or even to dealers.
I really can't complain (yet) about recent HD order. Previous Ram/Dodge orders went pretty well except for the Dodge Durango Hellcat that went south. That was because dealer lied about having allocation though.
Still - shocks me that we can track Amazon toilet paper delivery down to where...
