Another recommendation for Timber Grove air bag, good company to deal with. I plumbed dedicated air lines to each bag instead of a tee, feels more stable when towing.
I wasn't aware that RC even offered air bags...had to look it up. I would prefer Timber Grove or firestone bags, but to answer your question yes they do help with the ride and stability when trailering.
I recently installed 5100's on my truck. They do "feel' firmer riding than the stock shocks , but maybe that was due to them being worn out. But I do like the ride and handling better than the stockers.
You could always use a snatch block to increase your pulling power. And I agree with you, the Vice mount I have on my truck is built solid, it is a well made product.
