Peacetime vet here (well Desert Storm era but got sent to Honduras). God bless you, sincerely grateful, and enjoy the truck. I am coming back to Ram after my 11 month old F350 blew a CP4 pump with 15K miles. Stellantis service is not the best, but holy smokes, Ford corporate makes it hard on...
Thank you @AnthonyRI ! We're going to make our decision after two RV shows (15 Jan in Tampa and 23 Jan here in SW Florida). You all seem to have a good rep and I'll give you a shout. Sent a DM too.
Being new to diesels, I had never heard of this tech. I read a few articles on it. At first blush, it sure seems like this is a tech that should be adopted. It really does not seem like there are many cons to it, other than the bottom line for big auto manufacturing. I did a chatgpt search on...
@AnthonyRI I've seen a few "rumors" across the WWW that the 2025 HDs will have head up display (my dealer has heard the same, but only a rumor). Would you know if this is true or not? The wife and I like that feature more than we would have ever imagined.

This is a long long shot. I just saw your truck in the picture and noticed the RV/fish house comment. Were you in South Georgia camping and fishing just before Hurricane Helene? The Providence Canyon area?
This 22 EcoDiesel of ours is my favorite vehicle of all i have owned. I'm 57 and owned many vehicles. Even with its faults i still just love driving it.
That is absolutely awesome that you took the time to write that up. I’m willing to bet that’s going to be helpful to more than just me. I’ll add more later to this.
I can't disagree on that risk associated to the emissions controls. We tossed around buying a previous generation truck only for towing. I would not drop the amount of cash required for a new truck for only towing. I'm not cheap....well maybe I am (I prefer frugal); who knows? A new vehicle...
Thank you. So they are distributing the emissions management across a more robust system reducing load and increasing component life theoretically. Do I have that right?
