Thx. Yes I cut the OEM pipe back about 8-10 inches or so. U can see the cut pipe if u get down on the ground. The pipe is angled down so it’s hard to see the pipe inside.
I have been meaning to post on this for the last month. I can’t express my gratitude enough to Aaron at Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, LA. I ordered my 2021 Laramie 3500 at the end of February. It came in the first week of May. The deal he gave me and customer service was second to none.

I am assuming the issue the OP had was trying to slide his original 4” aftermarket tip directly onto the OEM slash cut pipe. As if the slash cut was a square cut instead of following the path of the slash cut pipe. If that makes any sense.
I finally got my truck a couple weeks ago. So all know, the pipe diameter on the 2021 Cummins is 4” like the others in the past. I slipped a 4”-5” Banks on with a little room to play.
