Push the start button without foot on the brake. Your glow plugs will kick in and warm for about 10 seconds. Then start as normal

I'm going to guess that that second regen never finished, BUT with that low miles and DPF gauge where it was, it seems odd that you had the throttle response issues. I agree with the advice above on having it scanned for any codes.
