Well I decided to test the auto battery detect type by hooking mine up to one of the lithium batteries I have. It did not automatically detect the type and I had to select lithium. So I guess that puts to rest that part of the internet claims.
I have mine at the rear of the truck so it’s easy to see what comes up. Now that I have the Lithium ion batteries out of the trailer for the winter I’ll have to hook it up to one of those and see if it automatically selects the correct battery type.
The Noco charger I have always defaults to the last type of battery that I’ve had in hooked up to. I’ve only hooked it up to Lithium once though and I don’t remember changing the charging mode. I believe it automatically selected the correct type. I always double check when I plug it in though.
Besides what’s been said above, my 2500 within 2k miles was wearing the outside edge of both front tires and the steering wheel was off. It took 2/3 turn on the adjustable link on the bar between each of the front wheels moving the front of the tires away from each other and the tire wear...
I have to say Edge as you have multiple layouts available plus if you use the one I normally do you have 16 gauges on one screen vs 8 for the Banks. This is my second Edge first one I had was on the 15 Ecodiesel I had. It had a quirk once or twice, so far this one hasn’t had any.
If the oil filter is full of glitter then anything short of a total rebuild or a different engine is a crap shoot because you don't know what the bearings, cylinder walls etc look like. Even a different "low mileage" engine is a crapshoot. Just changing the cam/lifters is not going to fix other...
I ended up adjusting the toe out 1/2 turn and that fixed mine. Firestone’s with 14k miles half towing look new. Not saying they’re great tires but it’s not the tires it’s the way the front alignment comes from the factory. Why they set these front ends up toed in so much is beyond me.
I agree that’s the reason I posted getting the proper hitch to fit instead of using the adapters. Since my truck isn’t the only one with fitment issues, it must be a slight difference with the hitches they’re using vs the ones GM uses.
The adapters I had didn't fit correctly either. Had to tap them in and get under the truck with a block of wood to remove them so I just ended up getting a 2.5" hitch with both 2' and 25/16" balls. The adapters must be a common issue for some reason. These same adapters fit the 2017 Silverado HD...
The IT department at the company I used to work for only got paid when they closed the tickets. They were always trying to close tickets even when the issues on the ticket were not resolved so they could get paid. Stella-antics system probably operates in a similar manor if not the same way.
The wording is definitely contradictory to me but my 23 Bighorn needs the key fob to lock/unlock the doors then it’s no longer needed to start the truck. Sounds normal to me but as said above, the other system has different door handles on the front.
