Vsim now enabled in both the bcm and the cabin net and still no function of the vsim with out ignition. Any idea how to make can stay awake longer?

You are correct it does say that! But read the lock and unlock inputs. It states there that after the input is activated it then turns on the output. Huh kinda conflicting.

Read that first page good it states that only the lock and unlock inputs still function not the outputs. When I get home tonight I'm gonna try grounding the unlock all input and see if the vsim then works.

Hey hey u might of just solved my problem for me. Do you know of some one who has the vsim and that it still functions without the ignition on? I know my truck didn't come with the vsim enabled.

No I don't have alpha yet. U know of anybody else that's tried this? Kinda funny that the vsim will still work but only with ignition turned on. But I'm gonna try my snap on solis again tonight and see if it will do it.

Yep it's definitely plugged into the black backed can distributor block. The circuits I'm using are the any door ajar. Pin 7 Grey connector circuit w720. Door unlock all pin 2 brown connector circuit w722 and trans park postion pin 7 Grey connector circuit w700. All these circuits are being...

Is it possible that since the truck was not programed for the v sim thats why it only works on ignition?

Yes I'm 100% sure it's fed live power and ground I just tested it. And I unplugged the connector with the can lines on it and had no voltage until I turned ignition on to acc or higher.

So I just confirmed vsim has constant power and the can shuts down. Any one know how I could get the constant can to the vsim not the switched can?

Silverheep got a little bad news for ya idk if the vsim will do what u want I added a v sim to my 23 and the functions I'm unlock door, ant door a jar. Vsim is only usable with ignition on. Acc. Or higher.
