The first thing they did was replace both wheel speed sensors and then several firmware updates got applied which fixed all the quirky shut downs of ABS, adaptive speed control, etc. while towing. This week, they applied the 3 recalls, but they didn’t have parts for the trailer brake controller.
Last May, my new ‘25 Limited CC, LB DRW and 41ft 5th Wheel got stuck at the first campground stop for the truck - backing up in the dark, stuck in middle of street blocking traffic, engine running for two hours, people complaining, couldn’t move the truck an inch. I finally discovered pulling...
My dealer fixed this.
Star Case #: S2523000055 pointing to replacing Wheel Speed Sensors in rear. Replacement Parts needed: 68646344AA (Right Side) and 68646345AA (Left Side).
After parts replaced, I drove from CT to Bar Harbor, ME and back (about 750 miles) with no incidents or CEL. First...
Mine had the rear wheel speed sensors replaced Friday. Saturday I drove from CT up to ME with no incidents & shut off/started up a bunch of times. It feels fixed - but I’m still wary…
@WEBradshaw.
Same thing happened to me with a 5th Wheel on back trying to unhook. It's called "AutoPark" and implemented to prevent the truck from rolling back in Neutral.
After hours of trial/error, the only thing that saved me after pulling the ignition relay was eventually pulling both...
Same exact issues on my 2025 3500 Limited CC DRW. Dealer flashed TCM and PCM with updates. Then towed from CT to Myrtle Beach, SC and back - starting with 150 miles on it. Had it happen at least 10 times while driving. Shut off/on at Rest Stops resets the warning lamps but "Check Engine" stays...
I removed the receiver from the back of license plate and mounted it centered a few feet from the trailer tires on my 38’ 5th Wheel. Then made a four wire extension cord back to the original plug back behind the license plate.
Finally works! Always been a range issue.
There are instructions how...
RodS.
I believe this has been covered and proven that no other sensors work - even though they use the same frequency - so don't waste your time. Hell, even the OEM sensors don't work on anything longer than a landscape trailer.
If I remember correctly, Brutal_HO did a write-up on this years ago.
Just got my 2025 3500 Limited delivered from Mark Dodge this afternoon. In the truck were the TTPMS wheel sensors with the Part#: P68433188AA. I'm pretty sure that this part number is the same since the 2020 model year.
Would a wheel sensor have any range improvements just by being released as...
Just got my truck delivered today from Louisianna. First time I started it, I got the same "Warning Light Illumination Unavailable Service Required" message on my dash. Let me know what the resolution was please...
For a previous truck, I put an order in for a Limited as soon as orders opened in July that year, but RAM held the order until they announced the launch in October. You should probably count the days beginning January 7th…
Anthony,
How does the software calculate package price when a component is in two or three packages that you are ordering?
Also, could you explain what "M/H" stands for in the Code Guide? Can't find this anywhere...
Your instructions were right on. Other than the quirky workarounds needed for the ‘22 UC5, mine has been working great since installation. Thanks for putting in the effort to finally resolve this “range” issue.
This continues to be reported by ‘22 UConnect5 owners. The doc for the latest patch 26.17 acknowledged this bug - but didn’t resolve it. Since 2019, none of the TTPMS systems have worked reliably…
