Agreed!! They have to keep you coming back every few years to spend another hundred grand. It is sad how pretty much every manufacturer is making disposable vehicles these days.
I think every manufacturer has issues at the assembly plant and these trucks are so complex, there are always electrical gremlins. The somewhat good news is that over time, things do seem to get sorted out. It kind of comes down to service after the sale, including the factory recognizing and...
Thanks for that detailed information. Your situation is exactly what I want to avoid! So they fixed yours with software only, not new wheel speed sensors?
You're welcome...I looked up the parts on Mopar.com so I assume they are accurate. I know there was a parts shortage with these sensors at one point so maybe they installed the left part for the right side (probably the exact same sensor just with a different length of wire). All speculation...
So you may have heard about the issue where the truck wont shift out of park and the engine won't turn off no matter what you do. You then have to go through either disconnecting a relay or batteries and letting it sit and click your heels 3 times to see if you can bring the truck back to life...
Well damn. if they didnt want to fix yours, they for sure won't fix mine that hasn't yet had the problem! Im going to check the part number on my WSS and see if maybe it is the upgraded part. If not, I may just buy a couple and install them so I don't have to worry about getting stranded.
Hello all...I have a new 2025 3500 DRW with only 1,000 miles on it that was built in May of 2025. I have to take it to the dealer for the B4C recall that made my dash freak out a couple of times, but I also want the dealer to check the rear wheel sensors to avoid this stuck in park running...
Dang..I was hoping to avoid them tearing up the interior as I am worried about reassembly and new squeaks/rattles. This is good to know though and would be consistent with other factory QA issues I have heard about! Thanks for the info.
No...but to be fair, I havent gone back to the dealer yet! I only have 1000 miles on the truck so I am waiting to more stuff to go wrong and then I'll get it all fixed at once.
Slightly off topic, but I just got a new 2025 off a dealer lot that was built in May and delivered to the dealer in October. I didn't think anything of it until I really looked around and the truck has all kinds of rust spots on the engine, suspension, brakes, diffs, etc. I mean a LOT of rust...
From my experience the TPMS warning goes off when pressure goes under about 20% of recommended. So rear duals require 65 and shouldn't give an error until around 53 or so. BUT...once the warning goes off, you have to inflate back up to recommended pressure to get the warning to turn off (after...
