I believe the DEF does have a shorter than reported shelf life. I have a 2018, and go through a lot of DEF, a few weeks ago I opened some that I had for about 3 months and it smelled terrible, but I did not really notice until I was pouring it into the tank. So I am not so sure it is shelf...- MIKE4378

Once I got to 86,000 DEF alarms of all kinds came up, pump failed, tank reading went to zero, and it gave the limp mode alarm, 200mph, then goes to 5 mph. So, did drain the tank, washed it out, but I think motor was already bad. Once complete, motor alarm came back in. But, I agree with all...- MIKE4378
