10 month old 2023 2500 Laramie with 22k. Had a leaky transfer case rear seal at 900 miles, and p2459 frequent regen code in the first month. Dealer replaced the transfer case, but had no resolution on the regen issue. I work from home, so lots of short low speed trips as my winter daily driver...
LOL, glad to hear I’m not losing my mind. I’ll literally stop talking and my wife will be wtf! I’m like “you don’t hear that echo?”
My son said one time “I hear it, it sounds like Charlie browns teacher talking”. I have a deep voice, but one other time one of my sons friends was in the car and...
I’m starting to suspect the ANC, it’s only when the backseat is full with 3 kids, and it’s only my voice that does it. Everything I found online with the bypass seemed to be for a constant humming or drone with aftermarket speakers and sound systems. I haven’t messed with the radio, but it is...
Has anyone had an issue with an intermittent echo sound in the cab? Sometimes when I’m talking with the wife and kids in the truck my voice echos when I’m talking on the drivers side. My son can hear it in the rear seat behind the driver also. Sometimes if a window is open I can hear the wind...
I will say the trans is super smooth, the overall ride is very comfortable, bigger cab, bigger bed, bigger overall. Great towing tech features, great cameras, heads up display, auto 4WD setting. The 24 interior updates are a huge improvement (not sure if the custom has the new interior), but...
I suggest driving one. I was considering a GMC with the gas 6.6 and 10 speed transmission after my 6.4 was bought back. On paper the numbers are very similar to the 6.4, but it was a total dog. Can barely get out of its own way.
2023 Laramie 2500. Was installing LED bed lights and when I was under the truck I found the wire from the bed outlet just hanging down behind the wheel liner. I assume it was possibly never connected at the factory.
I cheated and tapped into the wire for the cargo light. Bed lights come on whenever the cargo light comes on (door open, unlock with the fob, push cargo light in the cab, etc.). The only thing I gave up going this route is that I don’t have the switch in the bed, but I hardly used that on my...
I found the plug and connected it and now I have a working bed outlet! Thank you. I was able to hold up the picture under the truck and find the wire tucked up out of the way.
You saved me a trip to the dealership which is never a fun experience.
This is very helpful! Thank you.
Mine didn’t have bed lights so there wasn’t wiring there, but I’ll check if there is an empty harness tucked away in that area.
