I suggest driving one. I was considering a GMC with the gas 6.6 and 10 speed transmission after my 6.4 was bought back. On paper the numbers are very similar to the 6.4, but it was a total dog. Can barely get out of its own way.

2023 Laramie 2500. Was installing LED bed lights and when I was under the truck I found the wire from the bed outlet just hanging down behind the wheel liner. I assume it was possibly never connected at the factory.

I found the plug and connected it and now I have a working bed outlet! Thank you. I was able to hold up the picture under the truck and find the wire tucked up out of the way. You saved me a trip to the dealership which is never a fun experience.

This is very helpful! Thank you. Mine didn’t have bed lights so there wasn’t wiring there, but I’ll check if there is an empty harness tucked away in that area.
