This is just my own assumption, but I’m thinking the destinations or wranglers may gut have a longer life and just be a better road tire than the Terra Graplers or kO3’s. Although I do know from experience how comfy and quiet the at’s are.
Lol I was waiting for that. early 80's baby with 90's fashion, I'm bringing it back baby!!!
Nah, I guess I just got accustomed to the white letters on the tires that came on the truck.
At least I'm not looking for full white walls on a 4 door boat like my parents said they wanted in the 50's.
Got 60k miles out of my original Firestone Transforce AT's. No complaints, never got stuck in mud or sand and they towed our 9k pound camper just fine. They got several punctures though; nails, screws, a piece of barbwire. I was able to patch each time, but I felt like the TransForce's were just...
This thread makes me wish there was a dot mark or check box on the hour meter that is currently counting the seconds, minutes, HOURS.
As in, put an indicator on either the idle hour number or drive hour number; whichever is counting at that time.
Because I have the same question: when is idle...
2022 original owner for exactly 3 years and 4 months now.
55555 total miles today
Idle 169
Drive 1169
Total 1338
12.63% idle time. I get stopped at a lot of train tracks.
And yes, I do truck stuff …
The ram service department in my small home town is worse, I promise. and it's two hours to any other dealership, so I'm stuck with their worthlessness.
I could bring my truck in for new tires and oil change and they will say they need to replace the radio.
Anyway, about the trans clunking...
Thank you @psh717
I disabled my hill start assist (I must have turned on every possible feature the day I took ownership of my truck in May 2022 and have not revisited HSA).
I just now drove with it off for the first time. I went 38 miles...it was about 6 miles through town with stop lights and...
no I did not.
Was kind of wondering if my damper could be bad, leaked, stuck solid and make my chatter less if removed. I'll let y'all know if I even bother.
Aside from the ecu flash, I wonder if removing my wheel hop damper would reduce the jittery accelerating and decelerating through 3-4-5 gears. Would removing that shock absorber cause any damage?
Dealers are not going to know. They were trying to get my cargo camera fixed and saying my truck was on latest radio software...swore up and down I needed a new radio. I asked on here and found out I was two software versions behind. I then looked at my service dept papers closer and saw that...
Sweet, You are da MAN Jimmy! Worked perfectly, but I only had to reset it once.
why couldn't anyone at the dealership or Uconnect when I called tell me to try that?
I have a 2022 Ram 2500 Laramie with the 8.4" Uconnect 5 radio
I was using software version MY22.S26.15. I previously had to manually update to get to that version to get my cargo camera working. (the truck was delivered without it working and dealership said my software was up to date, and they...
@brv10
Any update to the ECU flash to smooth out our 8spd HD transmissions?
Earlier in this thread I fretted about how mine makes clunky downshifts when easing to a stop. It will still do that, but I feel like now at 15,400 miles the accelerating is getting more sloppy. It hesitates and...
