Just a wild thought here. An after market accessory or perhaps even a kit available from Ram that would include a DEF tank blanket, a heater that ties in with the block heater that maintains a minimum heat but doesn't
flash the DEF to crystalize on the heating element in conjunction with the...
We went up over Berthoud Pass and as we dropped down it got colder. From Winter Park out past Granby it stayed around -24 degrees Fahrenheit. No issues with the truck at all. The truck sure is powerful and comfortable.
Always good to comeback to this forum and read the outstanding comments and contributions. I live at 8,550 feet and our temps regularly get down to the low single digits. I believe it's 7 degrees out there right now.
I'll leave for Pinedale, Wyoming in the morning and it is a little colder than...
Nice looking work. My trailer is a flat top I haul hunting trucks on so I'm always concerned about backing into things I shouldn't and the forward and rear tie down chains from the rigs to the trailer popping loose.
The trailer surround view system you ad as an accessory. I think it was around 995. They put in the rear bumper connector and in the box you get is the main junction box, four cables and four cameras. You mount them on your trailer as you see fit.
I think its a great idea to mount two of them...
Brought it home last night. I've been going over the Aux switch information learning about the programming and wiring. The 12 inch screen is incredible. The cameras on the truck as well as the trailer surround set up is awesome. I next have to do the camera installation on the trailer. I am...
Yeah, I asked the salesman and his answer was they were standard on the Limited's but because there is no such a shortage and backorder they have removed them. Who knows, they look great anyway.
I sold my 2004 Northland 840 and bought a 2022 Wolf Creek 850. I figured I'd find a way to go big before I left for the big hunting camp in the sky so I also bought a new Kaufman 16k GVW flat deck trailer. So pappa is going hunting
with new gear this year. I'll be nervous as hell the whole time...
Well crud, that's a deal breaker. I'll go ahead and get it but just plan on getting a new truck after hunting season. Yeah right! I should have looked closer when I selected painted steps. No biggee for me really though.
Thanks guys. I just walked in and noticed the steps were deployed out and since the truck was sitting with the doors closed I assumed they weren't retractable. I ordered the painted cab only steps so to not interfere
with slide in camper tie down brackets. Obviously lots to learn on this beauty.
I looked at Ram Connect a bit ago and it shows they filled up that 50 gallon tank. That is a major plus. At well over 5 dollars a gallon that had to end up being close to 300 alone. Apparently someone at the dealership
likes the truck, they've put on 21 miles since it got delivered.
In just...
I wish you luck as well. My truck sat at Rolla for just 7 days. I'm back now and will drive down and be there at noon with the check to pick her up. I tried just calling United Auto the carrier company who coordinates trucking and not PRS who manages Rolla and the dealership got a call 2 hours...
