Hoping to change the throttle both in high and low... if I can. But would take only low if that was the only option. Open to a variety of options... this is the only thing that repetitively annoys me about my truck.
That sounds like the opposite of what I would want... Really, I'd like it to behave like an old fashioned cable throttle. Faster response... less extreme response... more linear
You guys get it. I'm looking for something that helps reduce the latency in the system... not looking for something that amplifies the signal. I don't really care about the turbo lag because I don't need (and in most cases don't want) large throttle outputs. I'd like the ability to fine tune...
I have a question for all of you guys. The one thing that really annoys me about my truck is the electronic throttle. It seems be really laggy... and non linear in the throttle response. Is there a tune out there that just makes the throttle respond quickly and linearly? (not looking for the...
That is exactly why I only used 1 articulink and kept 1 stock. The remaining stock arm seems to keep axle hop at bay (in snow in my case) while the articulink allows for more travel... it's a middle ground that works for me. I also have stock springs with my AEV lift and no sway bar.
Do you guys happen to know the torque spec for the track bar bolts? It looks like I need to remove a tie rod end in front... anyone know the torque spec for that one?
My truck has 62,000 miles on it and I need to replace the front track bar. Apparently, the Prospector has a unique bar, so I ordered from AEV. How many miles are you getting out of your track bars? Is my experience typical? (60k seems reasonable, but I have not idea.)
Hey guys,
When I turn on my (2020 Laramie trim) truck, my climate control always comes up set to 72 degrees with the fan speed turned all the way down. It used to stay where I left it. The change is annoying but I have noticed something even more annoying. Occasionally, when I start the...
You might be right. Reading this, it seems like there might be a Cummins/Ram/Hydrogen Fuel cell effort going on:
"Cummins recently introduced the B6.7H, a hydrogen version of the 6.7-liter engine, designed to power medium-duty commercial trucks. Speculation suggests that the B6.7H could...
I think that RAM is going to use the new Cummins 6.7 Liter engine:
"Cummins announced its plans to release a 6.7-liter version similar to the X15H which will be built on Cummins’ new fuel-agnostic platform. Below the head gasket of the hydrogen engine, it is built with largely similar...
I haven't had any clicking in my driveshaft... but I did break a driveshaft (along with my front R&P). I suspected that the slipyoke was extended too far when it happened, because the front suspension was articulated and extended. I'll have to take a look at the splines and see if they look...
The one down to the house isn't as bad but the one down to the shop is legitimately steep. (you need to come visit again) I don't sand, but I do plow with my tractor. Even with me trying to keep on it, the driveway just ends up being 4-6 inches of ice by the end of the year. (Awesome for...
