They both look nice. Just wondering if anyone has compared the two and which look/fit/protect best on these HD trucks,, particularly trucks without fender flares.
I didn't mean to get people all riled up, but I guess I should have expected that when I started this post! I guess the main thing I was wondering is if there is such a small difference between the two, that people would just buy whatever is on the lot regardless of axle ratio or if they really...
I know, another thread on this. But I was actually curious about another thing since people say there is not much difference. Do most of you with 3.73's have them because that is what came with the truck you bought off of the lot? Seems like most I have seen on lots have 3.73. And those with...
So let me know if I am understanding this all correctly. This is what I gather from reading all of these 3.73 vs. 4.10 posts:
The main thing I get is that there is really not much of a difference to start with. If your truck is a daily driver and you are not towing, a 3.73 makes sense because...
In the Big Horn, is there a difference in feel to the bucket seats and the bench as far as the width, bolsters, etc.? And is the center front seat adjustable at all and is there very much legroom for someone in the middle? If the seats are practically the same, it doesn't seem like it would be...
Interesting point there. On one hand, if something goes wrong with the aftermarket ones, you are only out $100 or so and can easily replace the whole thing. Maybe if someone is hauling a trailer practically everyday it is probably more convenient to just show up on the truck's screen. I guess...
Those are great points. I suppose with a cap, they can actually see what is inside and may be more likely to break in. I guess the way I see it now, I may have the SUV loaded up pretty high to the ceiling sometimes when we go on trips or camping, but the truck bed is quite a bit bigger so...
This is more of a general pickup truck question, but I am used to a large SUV and just being able to haul stuff around in the back as needed (groceries, luggage when we go on a trip, camping gear, etc.) knowing it will be dry and secure. I suppose that could be mimicked by putting a topper on a...
I read the posts about people getting stuck or spinning out on wet pavement and them not being true off road tires, but are they that bad for just mostly highway use?
The bed package seems like a decent deal with the liner, step, and lights but the side steps for $850 for the black ones do seem pretty expensive. Which steps did you end up getting?
Just curious about what you guys do when ordering a truck as far as accessories. I would want a bed liner and side steps anyways, so is it just easier to include them in the order so you don't have to mess with them later? Same with a tonneau cover. I figured I will need one eventually...
I am going to eliminate the Limted and Limited Longhorn because those are way out of my price range and I want a step up from Tradesman (I really like the Night Edition) so I am between these two trims. It appears if I add the Big Horn Equipment group B and the LED headlamps, it has pretty much...
