I finally got a chance to install my naviks and get the wiring run in the truck for my rear view safety camera system that is on my 5th wheel. Had to pull power from the 12V outlet in the dash to the rca connections from my camera system. I've had this system for several years and it works for...
I received my Naviks unit today. It does have the RCA cables. They are not labeled, but that is not a big deal to me at all. Probably won't get a chance to work on it for a couple weeks. With these arctic temps in Kansas, I am staying inside! :)
Yeah, I am actually a little worried about that. I called and spoke with someone who seemed to have no idea what I was referring to and told me I needed some other part if I want to have RCA inputs... So I am unsure where I am at.. I did place the order and they sent me a follow up email asking...
If I just go order the Naviks that is linked above, does it come with RCA cables? Just want to make sure since the photo doesn't show them and it doesn't look like there is a method to add the discount code any longer. Just want to make sure I get the correct part. I already have AlphaOBD, so...
This is great! I've got a wired camera system on my TH and used a separate 7" screen in my '13 Ram. It came with RCA plugs so I think I am set if I get the NAViKs
I was initially sent the incorrect cover. Once I received the correct one, it went on easy. I did have to remove screws and adjust the latches closest to tailgate to get it to close. They were so wide it wouldn't close at all. Overall I would rate 7 out of 10. Several attention to detail issues...
I'm just gonna stop thinking about it and schedule it. I'll be ticked off the first rock chip if I don't. I do plan to keep this truck upwards of 200k, and it's not driven daily.
I don't have the time or patience to try and do it myself. And based on what I've read online, if you don't know what you are doing, it will look like crap. Like a poorly applied screen saver.
Since I've never purchased a brand new truck before, and plan to keep this truck long term, and it's night edition with painted bumpers, I decided to take it to a few detail shops to get prices for clear bra and ceramic coat. I knew it wasn't cheap, but was not prepared for the estimates I...
I ordered the MX4 for my '21 3500 DRW last week. Set to deliver tomorrow. I had a different bakflip on my last 2 trucks and liked it. Hope the install goes smoothly this weekend.
