Finally got my truck back and it’s fixed - so far! Took nearly 90 days to identify a faulty wiring harness. FCA did right and has approved taking care of my payments for the three months. Last week I went ahead and put new tires on her - falling in love all over again.
Here we are another month later. Truck is still in the shop with the shop foreman working with FCA engineers to diagnose and fix. I was told they can't figure out what is wrong, have replaced several parts (connectors etc.), but the problem persists and have to wait on direction from FCA...
Update from the current dealership looking at the truck - forman is involved and the "strange because the wiring schematics from the factory are all for the 6.4L gas engine, and not updated for the diesel. I think thats part of the issue" Keeping my fingers crossed they can figure it out.
