Little update on mine: took it to the dealership, they checked injectors, said the DPF was plugged and would give me $900 on the complete replacement job. The service writer went outside with me and told me to put the truck on a diet because they are having tons of issues with these trucks and...
When you go pick it up, tell them about the TSB that just came out for the 22-23 trucks. It will surprise them that you already know about it and may help motivate them to report higher up that the 2021s have the issue also. That's my plan for when I take mine in next week.
My dealership has also been giving me the "regen does not cause fuel in the oil" line as well. I feel like there is a good case for a class action lawsuit on these things. I have a decent sized following on YT (302k) and I may reach out there to see if anybody else is having the same issues.
Read this entire thread, Dinky503, thank you for documenting all of your troubles. I custom ordered my 2021 truck and had planned to put 500k+ miles on it, but it has been doing the frequent regen thing for a while now. I typically had my screen on the fuel economy page and never watched the DPF...
Just joined this forum after researching my 2019 HO6.7 frequent regens. I have almost 100k miles on my truck, but have been getting kicked down the road at my local dealer with "parts are not available to fix it" for a while.
