Yes remote start will work by just added the XBM sales code. They could not find the JKR sales code to add, but it worked after they programmed my new remote.

Order a 3-3/4” hole saw if you don’t have one. I could not find one locally and had to order it. I did not have to unbolt my bed to install the puck system. It took me 4-5 hours to install all four mounts and the 7 pin plug in the bed.

I saw the Ford set on CJC’s Instagram. I would love for a RAM set to be released.

I removed the door panel (takes 2 minutes) but I did not disconnect the window from the track or remove the inner door plate.

The passive entry install is very straightforward. The only difficult part was contorting my hands to get to the three screws holding the handle on since I did not take the window off of the track or remove the door plate. Good luck!

I would be glad to help. I am in Logan, UT if that’s within your range of travel. I just did this on my 2021 Tradesman with Jimmy’s harness last month.

I think it would make more sense to go with option 1!

Did that $300 at least include the cost of the remotes? If so, that wasn’t a bad deal (except for the tailgate release).

I bought AlfaOBD when I added my passive entry door handles but did not need it for remote start or tailgate release. Everything worked with just the dealer visit. It was $85 for the key programming and free for them to add the sales codes.

I have a 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman. I bought a remote with the tailgate release and remote start. The dealership programmed it and added the sales code for me. I just told them the sales code listed in the previous pages (XBM & JKR). Both functions work great without adding any additional hardware!

Yes, I just had the dealer order and install 82212195AB alongside the fifth wheel prep package.
