Yes, I took it into the dealer every year roughly when the warning light came on saying exhaust needs maintenance. The nox sensors have been going off in the last 4 years. Just wondering , will an additive hurt anything to try and clean the dpf etc?
I heard it a few times and it would go on the dash saying it’s doing it just for about 6 mths after I bought it new. After that every year , the exhaust system needs maintenance warning came on and they would manually regen at the dealer.
P2201 nox sensor , or exhaust system needs maintenance, so then I had to take it in and they’d manually regenerate it. I’ve replaced 3 different sensors and they never fix it so that it would regen on its own. Now at least the Cummins lawsuit has given me 4 more years warranty for the ecr system.
2014 ram cummins that hardly ever regens and is coding nox sensor issues for years!! Should I put a fuel additive in tank to burn off soot or will this just lug up the the cat?
