I have posted about this issue a couple of times, here and on Facebook and other forums. My truck, a 2021 2500 Tradesman, 6.4 HEMI, had this same issue. Took it to 2 dealers, first one said the brakes were fine. The second dealer took me seriously. They had the truck for a couple of weeks...
My Ram is a 2021, and I'm having the same problem everyone is describing. I had my back tires off and inspected the rotors and pads visually, and found plenty of material left on the pads, so we didn't try collapsing the calipers. What was the wear state on your pads with the caliper issue? Were...
Matt - have you checked the vacuum sensor? One of the other irregularities I've noticed is that IF I MOVE QUICK from gas to brake, like a panic stop, the pedal seems firmer than if I take my time and brake casually....just curious...
Please keep us posted as to your success, you are the closest person to a solution than any of the other posts I have read here. Let us know if you decide to replace the ground, or whatever you try next. Thank you!!
I read this whole thread. I opened up a case with Dodge. I've had my truck to the shop 3 times now. System has been bled, inspected for leaks, master cylinder checked and confirmed to be good, no ABS codes to be cleared or remedied. I had a pedal with GREAT engagement and feel until the battery...
Listen, I understand back in the old days before your computer ran your car, the battery had nothing to do with your brakes, but I had a GREAT brake pedal with PERFECT feel until I changed the battery and the system rebooted. They have bled my brakes, inspected my lines for leaks, checked the...
saw a very similar post on Reddit. I had ABSOLUTELY NO problems with the brakes on my 21 RAM 2500 until the battery died, and I had to replace it. Right after that the pedal feel went to crap and now, while it stops fine, the pedal has to go all the way to the floor. I will try the cruise...
Thank you so much for your reply. Question about re-pinning the jumper to swap 5&6...(I have a tendency to use too much force and break things) when prying out the white insert on the jumper so that I can lift the tabs and back out the 2 wires i want to swap, am I trying to REMOVE the white...
So now, question: If I jumper AUX1 under the hood to the pass through under the hood and I plug in the grey jumper connection inside the cab against the firewall to put power to the back of my 2500, that then makes the wires at (F) at the rear of the truck active for use (mounting LED bed...
I just really want to thank all you guys for contributing your expertise to this forum. I don't know if you know this, but in our RAM owners manuals (I own a 2021 2500 Tradesman), the section on AUX Switches refers you to the ramtrucks.com website so you can use the online builder's guide for...
